William L. Shaffer, M.D. | Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology
Dr. Shaffer was born and raised in Corpus Christi. He graduated from Medical School at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, where he also completed his Internship, Residency and Fellowship. He returned to Corpus Christi in 1989 to practice nephrology.
Karim Nooruddin, M.D. | Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology
Dr. Nooruddin joined Kidney Specialists of South Texas in 1995. He received his medical degree at Dow Medical College in Karachi, Pakistan. He completed his Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston.
Fariba Zarinetchi, M.D., FASN | Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology
Dr. Zarinetchi has been in Corpus Christi since 1996. She graduated from Tufts Universtiy School of Medicine in Massachusetts. She completed her Internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Georgetown University Medical Center and her Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Colorado Health Science Center.
Shah Islam, M.D., FASN | Board Certified in Internal Medicne & Nephrology
Dr. Islam has been practicing Nephrology with Kidney Specialsts of South Texas since 1999. He received his medical degree from J.N. Medical College, Aligarh University in India. He completed his Fellowship in Nephrology at St. Louis University, School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri.
Geeta Reddy, M.D. | Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology
Dr. Reddy completed her medical degree at Osmania Medical Collge in Hyderabad, India. She joined Kidney Specialists of South Texas in 2004, after completing her Fellowship in Nephrology at the University of Iowa.
Benjamin Lee, M.D. | Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology
Dr. Lee received his medical degree from the University of Western Ontario in Ontario, Canada. He completed his Fellowship in Nephrology at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. He is also trained in Interventional Nephrology. Dr. Lee joined Kidney Specialists of South Texas in 2013.
Prabhat Singh, M.D. | Board Certified in Internal Medicine & Nephrology
Dr. Singh joined Kidney Specialists of South Texas in January 2018. He received his medical degree from J.N. Medical College, Aligarh University, in India and completed his nephrology fellowship at the University of Cincinnati.
Stefani Watson, NP-C | Board Certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
Mrs.Watson graduated with her Masters of Science in Nursing from University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston in December 2014. She started with Kidney Specialists in March 2015. Stefani makes rounds at the local dialysis units.
